Delicious flavours of Mexico shine through in this quick, easy and incredibly versatile mango, lime and chilli salsa which is perfect on grilled fish, chicken, pulled beef or our loaded matzah nachos.
Light and fruity, this salsa uses all natural ingredients, meaning that even if you don’t have access to a ‘KLP superstore’ you can rustle this tasty treat up to upstyle dishes.
Of course, some of the below is optional, and while we love the combination of the sweet mango with the chilli, if spice isn’t your thing, drop in a little less chilli, or omit all together, although the balance of flavour, we feel is delicious. If you’re making this to go with loaded matzah nachos, don’t forget to get some guac into the mix for a KLP meal that will have you smiling from ear to ear.
Ingredients
- 1 Mango, finely diced
- 1/2 Red Onion, finely diced
- 1/4 Red Chilli
- Handful Coriander, roughly chopped
- Pinch of Salt
- Juice of 1 Lime
Method
- Salt the onions.
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
- Leave to stand for 5 minutes, to allow flavours to infuse.
